1. Store Overview

The Customised sells customised cakes through https://thecustomised.in/. We handle all deliveries in-house using scooters or AC cars, depending on cake size. No third-party delivery partners are involved.

2. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or you have given us consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

  • You will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • You will not transmit any harmful code or viruses.

3. Product Information & Services

We specialize in customised cakes, which are perishable and non-returnable.
All decorations, toppers, and cake models are handcrafted. Cakes are cream-based with edible fondant decorations unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time

  • Modify or discontinue products or services without notice

4. Order & Payment Terms

  • We accept UPI payments and cash.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is available partially (you may need to pay a booking amount in advance).

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customised cakes are non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • Cancellations are accepted only if requested at least one week before the event date.

  • If any customised topper or special decoration has already been made, the cost of that item will be deducted from the refund.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • We deliver by our own team, not third-party couriers.

  • Free delivery is available on orders above ₹2000.

  • Standard delivery time: 2 days processing + 2 days delivery

  • For small cakes, delivery is available only between 10 AM to 4 PM due to transportation constraints.

7. Accuracy of Information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, but we do not guarantee that all information is error-free. Colors, designs, and sizes may vary slightly due to customisation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images of cakes, designs, and text, is the property of The Customised. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the site without express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use of our products or services

  • Allergic reactions or health issues related to cake ingredients (please check ingredients with us before ordering if you have dietary concerns)

  • Delivery delays due to factors beyond our control

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal.
